Texas theme fabrics Star quilt

Really cute Texas theme fabrics went into this quilt destined to be a gift from a client to a 75 year old non quilting friend.   I custom quilted this big 86" square quilt with a little creative thought process with lariats in the borders, spurs and belt buckle details on the squares, stars in the blue  and a little feathery flower of sorts just because I like some traditional in the white.

 

 

 

 

The backing was a solid gray Aged Muslin but what a surprise on the frame, underneath looking up @ the light, It looks like stained glass with the colors showing through to the back.
